I recently installed an in-line whole house water filter system for a customer. This system is designed to improve the quality of water throughout the entire house. The system consists of a series of filters and purifiers that are strategically placed before the water enters the main water supply. The first step in the installation process was to locate the main water supply line and shut off the water supply. This was done to prevent any water from flowing during the installation process. Next, I cut a small hole in the wall near the water supply and attached the filter housing to the pipe. The filter housing has multiple inlet and outlet connections, which allow me to connect it to the existing plumbing. After connecting the filter housing to the plumbing, I attached the first filter to the inlet side of the housing. This filter is designed to remove sediment and other large particles from the water. I recently replaced the cartridge in a Moen Positemp tub and shower faucet. This involved disassembling the faucet, identifying the faulty cartridge, removing it, and installing a new one. I also checked for any signs of wear and tear on the other components and made any necessary repairs. The faucet was then reassembled and tested to ensure proper functionality.

I recently completed a whole house plumbing system inspection at the homeowner's insurance company's request. This inspection was part of the process to determine the scope of work and the cost of repairing or replacing the plumbing system in the home. I thoroughly examined every aspect of the plumbing system, including the water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and appliances. I also checked for any signs of water damage, leaks, or other issues that could affect the plumbing system's functionality and safety.

Natural gas dryer installation

Call was for water heater maintenance. We drained the water heater, replaced the water-logged expansion tank, and installed a new t&p relief valve

Call was for lack of hot water and pressure. We installed a whole new tub and shower trim kit and handheld wand. Also installed a new cartridge. Complete rebuild of existing tub and shower faucet.

Dishwasher was not draining. We had to take apart the garbage disposal and remove the obstruction that was causing the dishwasher to back up. We also fixed the tailpiece washer.

I replaced leaking supply lines and shutoff valves underneath a lavatory sink. I replaced the shutoff valves with quarter-turn valves and provided two new supply lines.

Performed a potential plumbing leak diagnostic for insurance purposes. Toilet tank caused a small flood in basement due to overfilling of tank.

Service request was for a leaking and dysfunctional pressure reducing valve or pressure regulator. We replaced inline with a new union and set pressure to 60-65 psi.

Replacing shower head and tub spout

Repair leak on copper pipe leading into acid neutralizer.

Call was for a leaking tub spout connected to a plastic pipe. We converted the pipe to copper and supplied a new tub spout

Today, I tackled unclogging a residential sewer line. The blockage was located using a CCTV drain camera, which pinpointed a root intrusion. I employed a sectional drain machine with a root cutter attachment to effectively clear the obstruction. Post-clearing, I flushed the line using a high-pressure hydro-jetter to remove residual debris and ensure a fully restored flow. The sewer line was then inspected again with the camera to confirm it was clear and functioning properly.

Today, I replaced an old, leaky outdoor faucet with a new frost-proof Silcock model. After shutting off the main water supply, I removed the existing faucet and cleaned the installation area. The new faucet was then mounted, ensuring it was properly aligned with the internal plumbing. I applied plumber's putty and Teflon tape to secure the connections and prevent leaks. After installation, I tested the faucet under pressure to confirm its functionality and leak-free operation.

Today, I unclogged a kitchen sink using a professional-grade plumber's snake and a high-pressure water jetter. After removing debris and buildup, I disassembled the P-trap to clear out accumulated grease and food particles. The drain lines were then thoroughly flushed to ensure free flow. Reassembled all components and conducted multiple flow tests to verify the effectiveness of the clearing process. The sink now drains quickly and efficiently.

Today, I completed the installation of a new main water line using high-density polyethylene (HDPE) piping. The process involved trenching to lay the pipe, connecting it securely to the municipal supply, and integrating a shut-off valve for maintenance ease. All joints were fusion welded to ensure a leak-proof system. The installation was pressure tested to confirm the integrity before backfilling the trench.

Today, I installed a new Kohler Highline Classic toilet in a residential bathroom. I removed the old unit, cleaned the flange, and installed a new wax ring for a watertight seal. The toilet was then aligned with the closet bolts, secured, and connected to the water supply line. I concluded with a leak test and flush verification to ensure everything was functioning correctly without any issues.

Today, I replaced a faulty sump pump with a new Zoeller M53 model. After disconnecting and removing the old unit, I installed the new pump, securing it firmly in the existing pit. Connections were made to the discharge pipe using PVC piping and check valves to prevent backflow. The installation was tested under load to ensure reliable operation during heavy rainfall, safeguarding the property against water damage.

Replaced a malfunctioning shower cartridge and unclogged a drain for a client in Catonsville, MD. I installed a new Moen valve cartridge and used a hand auger to clear the blockage in the shower drain, ensuring smooth water flow and proper functionality.

Today, I performed leak detection and repair on residential plumbing. Utilizing an acoustic leak detector, I pinpointed the source within the underground pipes. The leak was isolated to a section of aged copper tubing, which I cut out and replaced with new, soldered fittings to ensure a watertight seal. The system was then repressurized to confirm the integrity of the repairs.

Today, I completed a drain cleanout and repair using a mechanical auger and high-pressure water jetting. I replaced the damaged PVC piping and ensured all connections were securely fastened to prevent future leaks.

Call was for a shower faucet where the handle snapped off. We were unable to remove cartridge and install a new one so replacement became imminent. Installed a new Moen Positemp valve and trim along with 2 new ball valves for quick shutoff in the event this happens again.

Performed diagnostic for potential plumbing leak. Leak was found dripping from dishwasher tub when dishwasher is running.
